— Anita Lynn McBride 1971 – 2007
Wake services for Anita McBride, 35, of Muskogee will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, January 11, 2007 at the Bradley Belltower Chapel. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 12, 2007 at the Butler Creek Baptist Church in Oktaha, OK. Interment will follow in Butler Creek Cemetery with Allen Miller, Jr., Thomas Wilson, Chris Washington, Derrick Washington, Michael Washington and William Washington serving as pallbearers.
Anita was born October 30, 1971 in Muskogee, OK. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 5, 2007. She was baptized on December 23, 2006 at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK by her cousin, Reverend Arrow Wilkinson from Albuquerque, NM.
Anita was a manager at Braums Ice Cream and Dairy for thirteen years until she became too ill to work. As a child, she loved to go skating with friends. She attended West Junior High School and Muskogee High School. She enjoyed doing crafts and home decorating. Anita was the rock in our family and had a big heart for helping others. She was a loving person who enjoyed spending time with friends and, of course family.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Johnnie & Susie Kelly and Clifford Eugene McBride. Survivors include her daughter, Alaina Grace Perry of the home; mother, Sharon McBride of Muskogee, OK; father & step mother Harold & Shirley McBride of Muskogee, OK: one grandmother, Anna Faye McElhaney, one brother, Bryan McBride; two sisters, Paulette McBride-Doty and Tina Hans, all of Muskogee; three nephews, Nicholas McBride and Brett Doty of Muskogee, OK and Joshua McBride of Denison, TX; one niece Jaycee Doty of Muskogee, OK: one great nephew, Adrian Keith McBride of Muskogee, OK and numerous other loved ones and friends.
The family has entrusted Bradley Family Funeral Service of Muskogee with the arrangements.
