William T. McCollough 1917 – 2007
Funeral services for William T. McCollough, 89, of Porter will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 12, 2007 at the Mallett Funeral Home Chapel in Wagoner with the Reverend Bobby Jenkins officiating.
Bill, as he was known to his family and friends, was born February 22, 1917 in Porter, Oklahoma to his parents, C.T. and Nannie (Seitz) McCollough. He was a life-long resident of the Porter area. Bill loved working with livestock and was a cattleman and rancher most of his life. He passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; and by all of his siblings, Claude McCollough, Evelyn Wolcott, Fred McCollough, Ozzie McCollough, and Minnie Hyden. He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Sue Boyd of Coweta, Jan Stone of Porter, Charlie McCollough of Muskogee, Joyce Gillin also of Porter and Tom McCollough of Neosho, Missouri; many great-nieces and great-nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Pallbearers will be Bruce McCollough, Frank Linzy, Gene Stone, Kenneth Gillin Darrell, McCoullough and John Mathews. Honorary pallbearers will be H.V. Roberts and Wes Hoping. Funeral arrangements and interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Porter, Oklahoma are directed by Mallett Funeral Home of Wagoner.
