Juanita Bell Meloy 1920 – 2007
Juanita Bell Meloy, 86, of Fort Gibson, was born February 12, 1920 in Wilberton, Oklahoma the daughter of C.J. and Effie Mae (Lovelace) McCain and passed away January 12, 2007 in Fort Gibson. She married Harold E. Meloy February 12, 1936 in Okmulgee and they were together for sixty-six years before he preceded her in death on June 12, 2002. She is also preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children; Betty Tackett of Fort Gibson, Jo Ann Bidleman of Greenville, NC, Harold Meloy Jr. of Leander, TX, and Juanita J. Rehanek of Fort Gibson, one brother; Corky McCain of Midwest City, OK, 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Juanita Bell Meloy will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday January 16, 2007 at the Bradley Memorial Chapel in Fort Gibson with Paul McCain officiating. She will be laid to rest with her husband at the National Cemetery in Fort Gibson.
