Rilla Jean Hood 1935-2007
Memorial services for Rilla Jean Hood, 71, of Muskogee will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, January 22, 2007 at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Mary Ewing officiating.
Rilla Jean Hood was born November 17, 1935 in Vallejo, California, the daughter of George and Violet (Smith) Babaz and died January 18, 2007 in Oklahoma City. She was a resident of Muskogee since 1960. She married Grandville Hood Jr. August 22, 1954 in Kinderhood, Illinois. She was employed with the Department of Human Services. She is preceded in death by her parents and one son, W.D. Farris.
Survivors include her husband G.E. Hood of the home; daughter Marie LaSchelle Hood of Muskogee; one son Everett W. Hood Sr. of Muskogee; one brother George M. Babaz Jr. of Houston, TX; three grandchildren Everett Wayne Hood, Nathan Gene Hood and Andrew Tiger Aldridge.
In lieu of flowers family request memorials be made to Trinity United Methodist Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home 2801 Chandler Road, Muskogee, Oklahoma 74403.
