After establishing residence in Muskogee, Capteon labored as a custodian at the Taft State Hospital and witnessed the hospitals transition to the Oklahoma Children’s Center and eventually to The Jess Dunn Correctional Center. It was during this time that Capteon transferred his employment to Parkview School for the Blind, Muskogee, Oklahoma, working until his retirement after 32 years of service.
