— Marie Collier 1919-2007

Funeral services for Marie Collier, 87, of Muskogee will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 1, 2007 at the Chandler Road Church of Christ with Jimie-Wray Mead officiating. Pallbearers are Joe Cunningham, Dennis Siner, Tim Harris, Mark Bates, Johnny Marshall and Rick Crossland. Honorary pallbearers are Billy Taylor, Dr. Tim Robison, Dr. Bartis Kent, Dr. Richard Reutlinger and Kelly Elerick. Burial will be in Oktaha Cemetery under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.
Marie Collier was born July 4, 1919 in Proctor, Oklahoma, the daughter of Jack Jr. Neugin and Anna Mae (Mode) Neugin and died January 28, 2007 in the home after a lengthy illness. She attended schools in Proctor, Tahlequah and Westville. She married Bill Collier on January 31, 1942 in Muskogee. She retired in 1985 from Corning Glass Company where she was a tubular machine operator. She is preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Jayce Collier Kirk, sister Peggy Marshall; brothers Bob Neugin and Burl Neugin.
Survivors include her husband “OU” Bill Collier of the home; two daughters Billie Marie Collier of Olathe, KS; Judy Collier Kirk of the home; three brothers Orvil Neugin and wife Bobbie of Dumas, TX; Louis Neugin and wife Mary of Muskogee; Dale Neugin and wife Rachel of Lincoln, AR: one granddaughter Shana Berry of Tahlequah, OK; three great grandchildren Montana, Alora and Wynter all of Tahlequah, OK; life-long friend; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Mildred and Booster Siner of Muskogee; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Viewing for Mrs. Collier will be held at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home, 2801 Chandler Road, Tuesday, January 30, 2007 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 31, 2007 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 1, 2007 from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The casket will be closed at the service.
The family will receive visitors from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2007.
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials to Burnt Cabin Youth Camp c/o Chandler Road Church of Christ.
