Helen Mae Terrill, 76, of McAlester, Oklahoma, died Friday, January 19,2007 in Houston, Texas. Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 30, 2007, at the Word of Life Church in Bache, Oklahoma with interment following the services at Tannehill Cemetery in Tannehill, Oklahoma under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service of McAlester, Oklahoma.
Helen Mae was born December 22, 1930 in Beggs, Oklahoma to Glen & Ruth Miller Jarvis. She attended Beggs schools and later moved to Manteca, California for numerous years. In 2006 she moved to McAlester to be closer to her family. She was a member of the Word of Life Church in Bache, Oklahoma and enjoyed playing cards where she was a member of the Yosemite Card Club, Bingo, Karaoke and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her sons & daughters-in-law, Mike & Norma Sauer of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Ron & Lynn Stephens of Waterloo, Iowa, and Jim & Rosie Stephens of Manteca, California; daughter & son-in-law, Bob & Suzan Farris of McAlester, Oklahoma; step-daughter, Pat Arnold of Modesto, California; and 21 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glen & Ruth Miller Jarvis; and her husband, Bill Terrill in 1993.
