The Plumb Theatre will present three country music performers for a special show at 7 p.m. Saturday. Multiplatinum songwriter and entertainer Paul Maloy will be joined by nationally acclaimed songwriter and country music performer Red Johnson and popular 16-year-old country music sensation Tanner Young for two hours of music. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door or by calling (918) 452-2020. Maloy has written for George Strait “Someone’s Walking Around Upstairs” on his “Ocean Front Property” album. Johnson is a seasoned songwriter and performer who has written songs picked up by Capitol Records, Golden Ring, and Mercury Records — “Six Days On the Road,” “Taxi Cab Driver” and others. After the deaths of Patsy Cline, Johnny Horton, Cowboy Copas, Jack Anglin and others, he co-wrote and recorded “There’s A Grand Ol’ Opry Show Playing Somewhere.” The song became an instant hit and was picked up by Capitol Records and included in the “The World of Country Music” album by Capital Records.
