Reed Burke stars in Tahlequah Community Playhouse Inc.’s production of “The Drowsy Chaperone,” which opens tonight. The musical kicks off TCP’s 40th season and is directed by Shawn Arthur, assisted by Bryn Smith with musical director, Kriss Harris. The music and lyrics for this musical within a comedy are by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison with the book by Bob Martin and Don Mc Kellar. Show dates are Friday through Sunday and Sept. 27-29. Performances are held at the Armory Municipal Center Auditorium, 100 N. Water Ave., Tahlequah, Ok. Reservations are required for the dinner theater. Information: www.tcpok.com or (918) 822-4440.
