Muskogee Animal Shelter volunteer Brooke Streeter pets Zooey, one of nearly 60 dogs at the Muskogee Animal Shelter. About 20 dogs, all of whom have had rabies shots and have been spayed or neutered, will be available for adoption Saturday at Tractor Supply, 1140 W. Shawnee Bypass. The shelter is overflowing with dogs, shelter employee Kelly Williams said, and she hopes a summer-long series of adoption events will help the shelter keep from having to euthanize any dogs.
