Demolition of the Midland Valley Railroad office building at Third and Elgin streets has begun. When the city purchased the building from the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame in July for $160,000, City Planning Director Gary Garvin said July 3 the property had potential to develop into a museum, arts and cultural district. Since then, the city has not said what plans it has for the property. The city approved the $57,760 demolition of the building in January.
