Irving Elementary School student Koley Boyd counts paper tulips students made as a fundraiser to support Hilldale fifth-grader Brooke Sides, who was diagnosed with a tumor in her brain in 2012. Students made and displayed one tulip for each dollar donated to the Kids Crusade to Fight Childhood Cancer. The school raised $960 to help the family’s medical costs.
