Peyton Patterson, 9, and grandfather John on John’s 70th birthday. Peyton is the daughter of Wade and Brandy Patterson of Warner and granddaughter of John and Sharon Patterson of Warner. Peyton wrote this to John on his birthday: “One day a little boy was born. He was so beautiful his parents named him John. He was not just a baby, he was a special baby. He had the biggest smile every time he smiled the whole world would light up. He had that beautiful sparkle in his bright blue eyes. His little toes wiggled around. His eyes twinkled in the sun. But now he’s not that baby anymore. he’s a man named John. He’s 70 years old, and he’s my wonderful grandfather. Love, Peyton and Lochlun Patterson.” Email your snapshots to features@muskogee phoenix.com. Photos must be at least 700 pixels wide.
