At its regular meeting Monday night, the Muskogee City Council approved:

• Actual payroll of $814,323.41 for period ending Oct. 18.

• Estimated payroll of $834,000 for the pay period ending Nov. 1.

• Awarding $44,671 contract to ABBCO Roofing Inc. for repairs at Muskogee Public Library.

• Rejecting bid from Tri-Star Construction LLC for construction of Centennial Trail Phase II North and authorize project to be re-bid.

• Increasing fees for Greenhill Cemetery. The proposed fee schedule was changed to increase the fee for setting stones from 10 cents per square inch to 20 cents per square inch. The original increase was proposed at 40 cents per square inch.

• Disposing of 500 Duncan parking meters no longer in use.

• Addendum to contract with Unlimited Sweepers and Cleaners LLC allowing company to build a shed on city property for company’s equipment. At the termination of contract, ownership of the facility will go to the city.

• Denying renewal of contract with Clearwater Enterprises LLC to provide natural gas for city facilities. Bid was approximately $225 per year higher than low bid. Councilors said they want the bid awarded to the low bidder.

• Ordinance rezoning property on Military Boulevard from single family residential and mobile home site to local commercial for construction of a motel.

• Ordinance prohibiting adult oriented businesses within 1,000 feet of a school, church, park, playground, library or residential area.

• Issuing licensing for MiRyde Taxi.

• Amending city’s sign ordinance.

• Settling workers’ compensation claim of Jimmy D. Roberts.
