Arkansas driver wins dash in final Modified lap Special to the PhoenixThe Front Wheel Drive feature winner was Ron Palmer, who won his third straight. He took the lead from Vian’s David Vinson three laps into the 10-lap race and then had to hold off Brandon Morris of Booneville, Ark., for the victory. Mike McMahon of Van Buren, Ark., was third.
Morris was pushing Palmer at the finish. Vinson, a former track champion in Pure Stock, just didn’t have the car to compete, after starting on the pole.
