Hulbert's Potts picks up first win By Kenton BrooksPhoenix Sports Writer Sapulpa’s Justin Green took the green flag in first place and was across the finish line before any of his fellow racers when the checkered flag was dropped.
It was his first feature win of the season for the driver who is not even among the Top 20 in the division’s point standings. He also won the first of two heats. Muskogee’s Randy Moses II and Dale Richardson finished second and third, respectively. Modified Braggs’ Patrick Goodnight said goodbye to a racing drought with his first feature win since May 9. It was his second feature win of the season in the division once known as Economy Modified. Eight cars finished from the original field of 15. Late Model Jordan Holloway of Montett, Mo. was leading in the 20th lap of the 25-lap feature when his engine blew. When Holloway left the track, that paved the way for Ken Essary of Cape Fair, Mo., to take the lead and he held on for the checkered flag.
