Woman dies trying to cross highway

— An unidentified woman was killed tonight and her husband injured while trying to cross a busy highway.
The woman and another man, who also was struck and injured, were hit by a vehicle in the 500 block of North 32nd Street, in front of Vicki’s Starlight Lounge.
The injured man was taken by Muskogee County Emergency Medical Service to Muskogee Regional Medical Center.
Distraught family members were at the scene and were taken to MRMC by police.
Traffic officers are trying to piece together the scene and determine what happened.
