MHS coaching candidates

— Bixby athletic director Pat McGrew has confirmed that he has an interview on Monday for the vacant Muskogee High School head football coaching position.

McGrew was the head coach at Bixby for 11 seasons, leading the Spartans to the 5A state championship games in 2005 against Tulsa East Central, Guthrie in 2007 and Midwest City Carl Albert in 2009.

In a related item, Wagoner head coach Dale Condict has informed the Phoenix that he has withdrawn his name from consideration.
