BREAKING NEWS: Homeland store ablaze

— The Muskogee Fire Department is fighting a fire at the Homeland supermarket at York and Hancock streets.

Store employees stated that the blaze seemed to have started on the exterior of the building and spread to its roof.

The fire started just after the store closed at 10 p.m., employees said. No customers were inside.

As of late Wednesday, the Fire Department had yet to issue a statement on the blaze.
