12-year-old dies after being hit by vehicle

Wagoner police are investigating the death of a 12-year-old boy who was hit by a vehicle while riding his bicycle home late Friday night.

Wagoner police chief Bob Haley said Richard Roth is being held pending further investigation. Haley said Roth left the scene and was arrested after he returned with his wife.

The name of the 12-year-old has not been released pending notification of his father.
