BREAKING NEWS: Man gets life in prison for role in death of teen

Fredrick Watson Jr., 20, was sentenced to life in prison with parole Thursday for his part in a 2011 slaying in Muskogee.

Watson is the last of six men sentenced in the November 2011 shooting death of Ryan Satterfield, 17.

A jury found Watson guilty of felony first-degree murder in August.

Watson will spend at least 38 years and three months in prison. He will be at least 58 before he’s eligible for parole.

Defense attorney Stephen Cale said an appeal will be filed.
