BREAKING NEWS: Fort Gibson football coach resigns.

Fort Gibson High School head football coach D.J. Howell resigned on Monday. Howell said he presented his letter to superintendent Derald Glover then shared the news with the team, one day following the season-ending banquet.

Howell was an assistant coach at Bixby prior to taking the Fort Gibson job, his first as head coach.
