Arvest Bank has hired Nick Thompson as president in Muskogee, according to a media release.
Thompson began his new position May 13 and will be working out of the branch located at 735 N. York St.
Thompson is a native of Warner and has a Master’s of Business Administration from Northeastern State University and is a 2013 graduate from the School of Banking at the University of Colorado. He has more than 15 years of banking experience and has worked in the Muskogee area since 1998, including his previous position as vice president of lending with Citizens Security Bank and Trust.
Thompson’s main focus at Arvest will be commercial lending and business development in and around the Muskogee area.
Thompson’s wife, Beth, is a teacher at Hilldale and they have three sons, Colby, Caden and Cale.
