Former area man retires from bank

Former Fort Gibson resident B. Don Steveson retired as president of First State Bank of Noble, and friends, family, and former co-workers came to his retirement party at his Lake Eufaula lake home on May 17. He was born in Muskogee and earned his Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Business Administration from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah.

Steveson served as vice president of Fort Gibson State Bank from 1990 to 1999. He is the son of the late Boyd Steveson, a Fort Gibson banker and businessman.
