Ms. Cindy Teel announces the engagement of her son, Christopher Teel, to Katie Hendricks.
He is also the son of the late Billy Teel of Muskogee, and grandson of Ms. Jerry Baker and the late Newton Baker of Muskogee.
Katie is the daughter of Dr. Jay and Debbie Hendricks of Tulsa.
Christopher graduated from Muskogee High School in 1998, and received a bachelor’s degree in funeral service from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2001. He received his master’s degree in business administration from Northeastern State University in 2004. He is a licensed funeral director and is in charge of advanced funeral planning for Moore Funeral Homes Inc. in Tulsa.
Katie graduated from Bishop Kelley High School in Tulsa in 2000 and received a bachelor’s degree in interior design from Middle Tennessee State University. She is employed by McFarland Davies Architects of Tulsa as an interior designer.
A wedding is planned for Saturday, March 22, 2008, in Tulsa, followed by a honeymoon in St. Lucia.
