Published February 09, 2008 10:23 pm - Wood, Weston honeymoon in Wyoming Katie Drake Weston and Jeremy David Samuel Wood were married at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007, at First Baptist Church in Muskogee with Dr. Lance Sawyer officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Virgil and Joyce Weston of Keefeton; granddaughter of the late Willie and Nadine Johnson of Muskogee and the late Fred and Virgie Weston of Porum. The groom is the son of David and Kellie Wood of Muskogee, grandson of Al and Delores Dillard of Muskogee, Virginia Wood and the late Buford Wood of Muskogee. Jennifer Gray was matron of honor. Jordan Leatherman and Mylie Leatherman, cousins of the bride, were bridesmaids. The late Christopher Linke was best man. Justin Wood, brother of the groom, and Joel Hite were groomsmen. Dakota Fischer, Piper Kasnic, cousins of the bride, and Cambrie Parker, niece of the groom, were flower girls. Isaac Weston, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer. Jamie Wood and Jennie Parker, sisters of the groom, were candle lighters. Matt Weston and Heath Weston, brothers of the bride; and Nick Dillard and Matt Wood, cousins of the groom, were ushers. A reception was held following the ceremony at Muskogee Civic Center. After the honeymoon to Wyoming the couple resides west of Muskogee.
