Ava Dawn Marshall and Stephen Allen James of Muskogee announce their engagement.
She is the daughter of the late Ernest Marshall of Oktaha and Norman and Riletta Nixon of Tulsa; and granddaughter of the late Alva and Virginia Sue Smith of Lone Wolf; the late Tucker Marshall and the late Minnie Marshall King of Eufaula.
She graduated from Oktaha High School and attended Connors State College, Muskogee campus, and Green Country Vo-Tech in Okmulgee.
He is the son of Jackson and Dorothy James of Muskogee; and grandson of the late Gilloe and Corene Williams of Muskogee, the late Jackson James Sr. and the late Donald and Lois Maple of Muskogee.
He graduated from Muskogee High School and OSU Tech in Okmulgee. He is employed at Network Logistic Solutions in Muskogee.
A wedding is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2008, at York Street Christian Church followed by a wedding trip to Hawaii.
