Stephanie Lynn McElroy and Philip Bentley were married on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007, at Houston Mill House in Atlanta, Ga., with the Monsignor Henry Gracz officiating. A reception followed.
The bride is the daughter of the Rev. Tom and Angie McElroy of Broken Arrow. She is the granddaughter of Don and Gloria Nicholson of Muskogee, Branson and Doris McElroy of Warner, and the late Betty McElroy. She graduated from Broken Arrow High School, and earned a bachelor of arts from Hendrix College and a master’s of education in school counseling from Georgia State University. She is a middle school counselor for Gwinnett County Public Schools in metro Atlanta.
The groom is the son of the Rev. David and Sally Bentley, of Rogers, Ark., and the Rev. Tom and Cherie Baker of Baltimore, Md. He graduated from Mountain Home High School, and earned a bachelor of arts from Hendrix College and a master’s of arts in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University, Washington, D.C. He is employed with CARE USA of Atlanta.
The bride’s attendants were Christy Jones of Richmond, Va., and Carolina Blatt-Gross, Susan Bleyle and Julie Moxley, all of Atlanta.
The groom’s attendants were John Mumford of London, England; Jamey Bentley of Little Rock, Ark.; Patrick Bentley of Los Angeles, Calif.; and Daniel McElroy of Tulsa.
The couple spent their honeymoon in the Napa and Sonoma Valleys in northern California. They reside in Atlanta.
