Published March 22, 2008 11:58 pm - Atwood, Winget engaged, plan beach wedding Aaron Tyler Winget and Jennie Suzette Atwood, both of Phoenix, Ariz., announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
Jennie is the daughter of Sharon Atwood and the late Dr. David Atwood of Mesa, Ariz. She is the granddaughter of the late Wilbur and Fern Atwood of Enid, the late Major Stanley and Ruth Davies of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Caroline Punte of Chapel Hill, N.C. Tyler is the son of Maudye Winget of Muskogee, and Larry and Rose Marie Winget of Paradise Valley, Ariz. He is the grandson of the late Jack and Margaret Jayne, Dorothy Winget and the late Henry Winget, all of Muskogee. Atwood graduated in 1999 from Mountain View High School in Mesa, and received her bachelor’s degree in advertising from Northern Arizona University in 2002. She is office manager at Applied Creative Inc. in Scottsdale, Ariz. Winget was born and raised in Muskogee and graduated from Muskogee High School in 1996. Shortly after graduation, he joined the U.S. Army and was a paratrooper and sniper stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C. He was deployed to Iraq where he served for six months. He is employed as an officer with the Phoenix Police Department. The couple reside in Phoenix and are planning a late summer wedding on the beach in California.
