Billy and Linda Cowan of Pryor announce the engagement of their daughter, Regina Lynne, to Michael Scott Carrels of Muskogee.
Regina is a 1996 Pryor High School graduate and received her bachelor’s degree in social sciences from Rogers State University in 2006. She is employed as a therapist by YouthCare of Pryor.
Michael is the son of Pete Carrels of Tulsa and Kimberly Tallon of Flint Ridge. He is a 1993 Muskogee High School graduate and received a bachelor’s degree in mass communications in 1997 from Northeastern State University. He is the news editor at the Muskogee Phoenix.
A wedding is planned at 7 p.m. April 12 at the Cherokee Casino in Catoosa.
