Wilks, Ryan plan July 5th wedding in Texas

— Mr. and Mrs. Alan Wilks of Waco, Texas, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashlie, to John Ryan, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Ryan of Garland, Texas.
Ashlie is a graduate of Fort Gibson High School and the University of Central Oklahoma. She is a teacher in Waco Independent School District.
John is a graduate of Naaman Forest High School of Garland. He graduated from the University of North Texas where he played football for four years. He is a teacher and football coach at Reicher High School in Waco.
Ashlie is also the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Leach of Fort Gibson, Ann Wilks of Oktaha, Bob Wilks of Fort Gibson,, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Phillips of Muskogee.
The couple plans to wed on Saturday, July 5, 2008, in Canton, Texas.
