Williams, Edwards to wed on June 7, 2008

— Deborah Williams and Ronnie Webb of announce the engagement of their daughter, Dameekia S. Williams, to David “Ben” Edwards II, all of Muskogee. He is the son of Emma and the late David B. Edwards Sr. of Muskogee, and grandson of the late Clarence and Louise Edwards of Rentiesville, and Melvin and Emma Jones of Amarillo, Texas.
She is the granddaughter of the late Dora Mae Williams of Batesville, Miss.
A 2001 graduate of Muskogee High School, Meekia earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Northeastern State University in 2006. She is a fourth grade teacher at Benjamin Franklin Science Academy.
Ben, a 2001 graduate of MHS, is employed with Dal-Tile in the Research and Development Department.
A wedding will be Saturday, June 7, 2008, at York Street Christian Church with a reception at Muskogee Civic Center.
