Ranks celebrate Golden Anniversary

— Rolland J. “Bud” and Melba R. Ranks celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary April 11. A small dinner reception with family and friends and hosted by their children is planned for April 20 at Miss Addie’s Cafe and Pub.

The Ranks married April 11, 1963, in San Diego, California.

Bud is retired after serving 20 years in the U.S. Navy and later as a National Service Officer for the Disabled American Veterans.

Melba is retired from the United States Marshals Service.

The Ranks are members of First United Methodist Church, and Bud is the current director of the Muskogee Cooperative Ministry Food Pantry.

The couple has two children, James Todd Ranks and his wife Marsha of Yukon and April Clinton of Muskogee; and two grandchildren, Matthew Ranks of Yukon and Austin Murawsky of Muskogee.
