Tyer, Workman to wed Oct. 11

Neil and Lisa Workman of Muskogee are proud to announce the marriage of their son, Charles Benjamin Pierce “Ben” Workman, to Michelle Joy Tyer, daughter of Curtis and Durinda Tyer.

A 2 p.m. ceremony is planned for October 11 at Birchman Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas.

The groom is employed as a pastor  in Fort Scott, Kan. He graduated the University of Oklahoma and the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Ben is the grandson of Willene Pierce and the late Charles Pierce and of the late Louis and Mildred Workman.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington and is employed as a journalist for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Michelle is the granddaughter of Anna and Dale Wilds and Ben and June Tyer.
