Farmers to celebrate Golden Anniversary

— Leo and Bobbie Farmer will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at the Muskogee Shrine Temple today.

Leo and Bobbie were married by Pastor Howard Gage at his parsonage in Checotah on May 6, 1963.

Leo retired after 29 years with the Oklahoma Department of Transpor-tation as the assistant to the resident engineer, working from 1963-1992.

Bobbie retired after 30 years with Muskogee Regional Medical Center as supervisor of medical records, working from 1977-2007.

They have two sons, Scott Farmer and his wife Belinda, and Bryan Farmer and his wife Cindy, both of Fort Gibson; five grandchildren, Megan, Jacob, Nicole, Katie and Caleb Farmer; and two great-grandchildren, Ariana and Amiah Woods.
