Horvaths mark Golden Anniversary

Cliff and Nedda Horvath marked their 50th anniversary with a brunch at their house on June 2, 2012.

The couple were married June 2, 1962, at Christ Church in Springfield, Mo., with Father George Wilson officiating.

Cliff is a retired Episcopal priest (now Anglican) and worked for St. Francis Hospice and Food For the Poor. He received his doctorate of ministry in church growth at Fuller Seminary, Yale Divinity School.

Nedda is a retired school music teacher, but is still an active private piano and vocal teacher, church organist and choir director. She has her masters in music education.

The couple has two daughters, Beth Rapp and husband Phil of Edmond and Jennifer Dixon and husband Tex of Fort Gibson; and four grandchildren, Christian and Haley Dixon, both attending OU, Janey Rapp, attending OSU, and Robin Rapp, a senior at Edmond North.
