Neislers to celebrate Golden Anniversary

— Boyd and Karen Neisler were married on October 29, 1962, (during the Cuban missile crisis) at Timothy Baptist Church with Rev. G.A. James officiating. Boyd worked for Coburn Optical Industries as a Design Engineer and retired after 32 years of service; retiring also from the Army Reserve as a Master Sergeant with 28 years of service. Karen worked for the VA Medical Center, retiring from Chaplain Service, after 40 years of service.

They have two sons: Lt. Col. Kevin Neisler, wife Marsha, and children Kristen Michele and Michael Keith,  residing in Kansas City, Mo.; and SFC (ret.) Bradford Neisler, wife Katie, and children Elijah, Isaiah, and Adalena Isabel, residing in Colorado Springs, Colo.
