Thomsons celebrate 60th anniversary

John and Claudene Thomson celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on December 19.  A celebration was held in their honor on Saturday, December15, at First United Methodist Church with their children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. John and Claudene moved from western Oklahoma to Muskogee in 1958, where they established their home and raised their family and have continued to live since.

They are loyal members of First United Methodist Church and are truly a wonderful example of loving, Christian parents. John and Claudene were blessed with two sons, Steve Thomson and wife Cristi of Muskogee; David Thomson and wife Penny of Muskogee; two daughters, Janet Smith and husband Ron of Muskogee; Lori Dillard and husband Keith of Muskogee, grandchildren Brandy Galvin of Ft. Gibson, Logan Smith of Tulsa, Matt Thomson and wife Sarah of Fort Worth, Texas, Ryan Thomson and wife Katy of Muskogee, Braden Thomson of Muskogee, Jamie and husband Chad Singleton of Muskogee, Katie Thomson of Muskogee, Nick Dillard of Edmond and Jake Dillard of Muskogee; and great-grandchildren Dylan and Gavin Mier, Abby Galvin, Lily and Mikayla Thomson, Tanner and Griffin Thomson, Haley and Caden Singleton.
