American Diabetes Association
Koin Bodeharrison, Veteran’s Administration visual services coordinator, and David Dowland, Blinded Veterans Association, will be guest speakers when the American Diabetes Association meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Muskogee Public Library, 801 W. Okmulgee Ave.
Their topic will be eye care and safety issues.

Tahlequah Aglow
Lisbeth Duffield, Oklahoma prayer coordinator for Aglow International, will be the guest speaker when Tahlequah Aglow meets at 6 p.m. Thursday at Go Ye Village Cafeteria, 1204 W. Fourth St., in Tahlequah.
Guests may eat from the buffet for $5.50. No reservation is necessary.
Duffield is a former area president for Aglow, where she served for more than 20 years in various positions. She is an ordained minister of the gospel, Bible teacher and speaker and has served in many positions over the years both in church and community. She was born and raised in Denmark and now lives in Edmond with her husband, Jim, of 37 years. They are both active as leaders in their church. They have two grown children and seven grandchildren.
Aglow International Oklahoma Eastern Area Spring Retreat will be from April 4 to 6 at Western Hills Guest Ranch. Renea Van Taglan will be the speaker. Teen girls also are invited to this retreat. Laura Wofford will be ministering to the teens.

Green Country Duplicate Bridge Club
Three Green Country Duplicate Bridge Club games and a class in basic bridge are offered each week at the Kiwanis Senior Citizens Center, 119 Spaulding Blvd. Newcomers are welcome at all games.
Schedule for this week: 12:30 p.m. Monday, open game; 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, game restricted to players with fewer than 300 master points; 9:30 a.m. Friday, bridge class; 12:30 p.m. Friday, open game.

Cherokee Basket Weaver’s Association
The monthly meeting and potluck supper of the Cherokee Basket Weaver’s Association will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Tahlequah, corner of Delaware and College streets.

New Century
Marilyn Stout will review the book, “Blood and Thunder,” by Hampton Sides when New Century Club meets at 1 p.m. Thursday in the parlor of First Presbyterian Church, 500 W. Broadway.
Connie Stout and Suzanne Jobe will serve as hostesses.

Kiwanis Club
Wayne Johnson, director of maintenance and facilities of Muskogee Public Schools, will be the speaker when the Muskogee Kiwanis Club meets at noon Tuesday at Church Central, 1801 Baltimore Ave.

Epsilon Sigma Alpha International
Delta Lambda Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha International will hold its April business and educational meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the home of Brenda Grigsby, 1500 W. 34th St. North. Joan Eanes will be co-hostess.
Installation of officers will be combined with a salad dinner. Each member is asked to bring a salad.
Officers to be installed are: Jeanne Meyer, president; Brenda Grigsby, vice president; Peggy Starkey, secretary; Kaye Pickard, treasurer; Alma Morris, educational; Judy Mullen, parliamentarian.
“Soaring with Eagles” will be the theme for the new president.

Muskogee New Friends
The Daytime Bridge group of Muskogee New Friends will meet at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday at Martha’s Market, Fourth and Denison streets. Reservations are a must. Call Betty Grider at 687-6177 by noon Monday. Cost is $10.
Bonnie Baker is looking for volunteers to work the blood drive on Tuesday. Call 682-3962 for more information or to volunteer.
Muskogee New Friends board will meet at 9:30 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Community Center, Eighth and Boston streets. Board members are required to attend. If unable to attend, call Rita Roller at 682-4814.
