Murrell Home to host program

The Friends of the Murrell Home will host a program on the restoration project at the historic home at 7 p.m. Thursday.
Site manager Shirley Pettengill will give a PowerPoint presentation describing the effort to restore the 1845 plantation home to its earliest known architectural period.
The public is invited to attend the program, which will be held in the library of the Murrell Home in Park Hill.
A short business meeting for the Friends of the Murrell Home will be held just before the presentation at 6:30 p.m. Topics for discussion include upcoming workshops and ghost stories.
