The 2013 annual AAUW Christmas ornament is still available for $12.50. The ornament features the Cherokee Female Seminary Columns in front of the Cherokee National Museum at the Cherokee Heritage Center.

The collectable ornaments are a limited edition of 124. Each one is dated “2013” and numbered. The round, porcelain disc is enclosed in a blue velour bag. They were designed by an AAUW member and produced at RorexBridges Studio in Oktaha.

A limited number of 2012 ornaments of Northeastern State University’s Bagley Hall Education Building also are available. This ornament was developed from a pre-1930 postcard.

Muskogee County Retired Educators

Muskogee County Retired Educators will meet for its annual Christmas Luncheon at 11 a.m. Friday at the Muskogee Art Guild, 315 Court Street.

Green Country Duplicate Bridge

Green Country Duplicate Bridge meets at 12:30 p.m. each Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Kiwanis Senior Citizens Center, 119 Spaulding Blvd. Newcomers are welcome. If you are interested in playing or learning to play duplicate bridge, call Ann Kent at (918) 682-3098, Mary Smith at (918) 682-2605, or Sandy Cole at (918) 684-9002.

• Dec. 4 — Minnie Sheffield and Nettie Kaad, first; Janice Chance and Helen Richmond, second; and Mary Hoover and Betty Dense tied with Flora DeBartolo and Sally French for third.

The annual Christmas party and election of officers will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Kiwanis Center. Bring a covered dish or dessert.

The last game of the year will be Friday. The center is closed until Jan. 6, which will be the first game of 2014.
