Whitekiller’s service honored by her family

— The family of the late Patsy Whitekiller recently met at the Women’s Center at Tahlequah City Hospital to pay tribute to the more than 20 years of service given by Whitekiller during her nursing career. Dr. Wallace Champlain, Sarah Craig, CNM and the Labor and Deliver Nurses at Tahlequah City Hospital, donated a painting in memory of Whitekiller. The painting, Renoir’s “The Garden at Fontenay,” now hangs in the Women’s Center waiting area.

During During Whitekiller’s career as a labor and delivery nurse, she had the honor of delivering multiple generations of families in the community.
