Christian nurses to meet tonight

A chapter of Nurses Christian Fellowship for Muskogee-area nursing students, graduates, faculty and others will hold its first meeting tonight from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Central Baptist Church. The club will meet the third Thursday of each month.

The chapter event provides a means to interact with fellow colleagues to obtain knowledge and skills to meet spiritual care needs for one’s self, patients, and families in the health care settings.

Nurses Christian Fellowship, a national and an international organization, has been in existence for more than 50 years.

Prayer support among founding members kept them focused and confident that they had been called into the profession of nursing. There are more than 100 chapters of NCF on college and university campuses in America.

Information: (918) 577-6352.
