Checotah church offers free series

The Checotah First United Methodist Church is offering a free monthly series, entitled “Synchronize Ministeries,” which is aimed at helping working women of all ages achieve more balance and harmony in their lives. The first of the monthly sessions will start at 6 p.m. Thursday in the church’s Memorial Hall. The program is free and child care will be provided. Jennifer Hart, wife of the church's Associate Minister John Hart, is the local leader of Synchronize Ministries. She has arranged and is conducting the monthly series for the church.

The ministerial staff of the church, Senior Minister Rev. Wayne Loftin, Associate Minister Rev. John Hart and Jennifer Hart are excited to offer the series and point out that future programs may include such topics as nutrition, finances, conflict resolution, home safety, health and beauty, crafting, and more. We invite you to come hear Mark Sherwood share the biblical principles to combat and win the victory over stress,” Hart said in a media release. “You don’t want to miss this critical word for today’s overcoming believers.”
