Baptist State Congress planned

The 107th session of the Oklahoma Baptist State Congress convenes on Muskogee next week.

The Rev. Donald E. Dumas, pastor of Muskogee’s Deans Chapel, serves as the OBSC president. The theme of the congress is “Solidarity with the Savior Through His Works.”

The OBSC will meet at Rayfield Baptist Church.

A musical kicks off the congress at 7 p.m. Monday.

The schedule:

• Tuesday — 8 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., classes; 10:30 a.m. opening; 11 a.m., keynote address; noon, sermon; 2 to 4 p.m., classes; 7 p.m., sermon.

• Wednesday — 8 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., classes; 10:30 a.m. American Cancer Socity Community Manager Health Initiative; 2 to 4 p.m., classes; 7 p.m., presidential address.

• Thursday — 8 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., classes; 10:30 a.m., general assembly with second vice president; youth rally and commencement will be held later Thursday.
