Toastmasters International

Area Governor Lindsey Williams gave a brief presentation at the last Toastmasters meeting. He explained that giving a speech is really just like having a conversation about something with a friend. Mary Ankrom and Dr. Jack Janway demonstrated that concept when they gave their speeches. Ankrom explained the process involved in framing a building and Janway entertained us with ways that facts can be manipulated to support a variety of positions. Toastmaster meetings are always fun and educational. Join us for our next meeting.

Toastmasters meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of the month at Three Rivers Museum, 220 Elgin. The next meeting is June 18.

Visitors are always welcome.
