Edwards crowned queen at Pageant

Lil’ Miss Aniyah Marie Edwards was crowned queen in the 7- to 9- year age division at the 30th annual Azalea Pageant held March 29.

Aniyah also won Miss Photogenic and talent in her age division. Aniyah attends Cherokee Elementary School where she is in the first grade. Aniyah attends New Balm Church and the Little Rose Baptist Church.

Aniyah is the daughter of Cle Andrae Edwards of Muskogee and Angela Nave of Tulsa. Maternal grandparents are Tedessa Montoya of Muskogee and Toney Nave of Oklahoma City. Great-grandmother is Frankye Montoya of Tulsa. Paternal grandparents are Cornelius and Cathy Edwards of Muskogee, great-grandparents the late Clyde and Beatrice (Robinson) Thompson and Clarence and Louisa Edwards.
