Country duo to sing at Roxy after appearances on ‘Voice’

Singing duo Alaska Holloway and Madi Metcalf will perform at 6 p.m. Saturday during the Saturday Night Spotlight Show at the historic Roxy Theater. They wish to thank everyone for the support they’ve been shown during their auditions for “The Voice.”

Both Holloway and Metcalf have been involved in music since they were young. Holloway is a graduate of Broken Arrow High School and a voice coach at Legato School of Music. Metcalf, a graduate of Jenks High School, hopes to influence others with her music. They sing a mix of country, rock, folk and bluegrass. They describe their music as “just two girls from Oklahoma living out their dream singing country music!”

After doing a blind audition for “The Voice” and winning a spot with Blake Shelton’s team, they said they feel very blessed to have had such an experienced professional coaching them and moving their music to the next level.

Cost: $5 for adults, children 12 and younger are free.

Information: (918) 758-8564.
