Keystone Study Club

Keystone Study Club will meet at 1 p.m. Monday in the home of Dorothy Fite. Janie Lopes will give the program, and current events will be given by Griffin, Haralson and Haugland.

Green Country Duplicate Bridge

Green Country Duplicate Bridge meets at 12:30 p.m. each Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Kiwanis Senior Citizens Center, 119 Spaulding Blvd. Newcomers are welcome. If you are interested in playing or learning to play duplicate bridge, call Ann Kent, (918) 682-3098; Mary Smith, (918) 682-2605; or Sandy Cole, (918) 684-9002.

Recent winners:

• April 16 — Mary Hoover and Minnie Sheffield, first; Helen Richmond and Janice Chance tied with Sandy Cole and Santa McWilliams for second place.

• April 18 — Joan Chapman and Carol Ketchum were first; Dave Murdock and Fran Martin, second; JoAnn Poirier and Lisa Poirier third; and Jane Lopes and Betty Jordan, fourth.

• April 21 — The game was played at Go-Ye Village in Tahlequah, with Alice Barham and Ann Kent first in A and over-all. Linda Stearns and Sandy Baker were second in A and over-all. Third in A and over-all was Dave Murdock and Fran Martin. Donna Porter and Sue Agnew were first in B and C, fourth in A and over-all. Bill Porter and Santa McWilliams were second in B. Marialice Davis and Grace Sweeney were 3 in B.

The Muskogee County Oklahoma Home and Community Education will be taking a trip as part of OHCE week. We will leave at 8 a.m. May 6 from the OSU Extension building, 1440 S. Cherokee. The trip will take participants for some shopping in downtown Tahlequah, lunch at Napoli’s Italian Restaurant, then to the Serendipity Quilt Shop for a quilting lesson. Everyone is invited. Robin Bremer introduced herself in her Ice Breaker speech at the last meeting. The Muskogee World Class Speakers, Lindsey Williams and Mary Ankrom, recently joined with the Okmulgee Toastmasters Club to participate in the OSUIT Trade and Job Fair.

Toastmasters meetings are held the first and third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 at Three Rivers Museum, 220 Elgin St. Information:

Muskogee Antiques and Collectibles Club

Muskogee Antiques and Collectibles Club will hold the regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at the Muskogee Public Library. The program will be on “The Sun, Moon, Stars and Planets in Jewelry,” by Betsy K. Edwards. Everyone is invited to come and bring their items for show and tell. Refreshments will be served. New Century Club

The New Century Club’s annual Guest Day Tea will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Fuel Room at St. Paul United Methodist Church. The tea will be hosted by the social committee. The review, which is the reviewer’s choice, will be presented by Jill Abdallah.
