Green Country Duplicate Bridge
Green Country Duplicate Bridge meets at 12:30 p.m. each Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Kiwanis Senior Citizens Center, 119 Spaulding Blvd. Newcomers are welcome. • April 23 — Renee Tyrrell and Bill Porter first, Sandra Cole and Santa McWilliams second.
• April 25 — Joan Chapman and Carol Ketchum, first; Ruth Sharpe and Fran Martin, second; Ann Kent and Ann Kuykendall tied with JoAnn Poirier and Lisa Poirier for third.
A team of consisting of Dave Murdock, Norma Kolmer, Fran Martin and Ann Kent will attend the Oklahoma City Regional Tournament on May 6 through 10.
World Class Speakers Club is participating in the “Beat the Clock Award Incentive” program to help District 16 become a Distinguished District this year. Each club that gains at least five new, dual or reinstated members from May 1 to June 30 will receive a ribbon from Toastmasters International and help District 16 become a Distinguished District.
Toastmasters meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. the first and third Tuesday of the month at Three Rivers Museum, 220 Elgin.
