Green Country Duplicate Bridge

Green Country Duplicate Bridge meets at 12:30 p.m. each Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Kiwanis Senior Citizens Center, 119 Spaulding Blvd. Newcomers are welcome. If you are interested in playing or learning to play duplicate bridge, call Ann Kent, (918) 682-3098; Mary Smith, (918) 682-2605; or Sandy Cole, (918) 684-9002.

Recent winners:

• April 23 — Renee Tyrrell and Bill Porter first, Sandra Cole and Santa McWilliams second.

• April 25 — Joan Chapman and Carol Ketchum, first; Ruth Sharpe and Fran Martin, second; Ann Kent and Ann Kuykendall tied with JoAnn Poirier and Lisa Poirier for third.

A team of consisting of Dave Murdock, Norma Kolmer, Fran Martin and Ann Kent will attend the Oklahoma City Regional Tournament on May 6 through 10.

Toastmasters

World Class Speakers Club is participating in the “Beat the Clock Award Incentive” program to help District 16 become a Distinguished District this year. Each club that gains at least five new, dual or reinstated members from May 1 to June 30 will receive a ribbon from Toastmasters International and help District 16 become a Distinguished District.

Toastmasters meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. the first and third Tuesday of the month at Three Rivers Museum, 220 Elgin.
